Flowers and Flamingos

Yesterday was a day of flamingos and flowers, and unusual combination, I know. On my trip to Wildlife World Zoo, I discovered rows and rows, field after field of roses that I had never known were there. Come to find out that 60-70 percent of the roses in the US come from AZ. I never knew! So after my visit to the zoo, I stopped to take in the roses at sunset. The light was great, the colors spectacular, and the scent intoxicating. Roses of every color. The roses were not perfect like you see in the stores and most photos, but it was so beautiful! This may be a new favorite photo spot.

Chihuly Glass in Seattle

I am sorry that I have been neglecting this site.  I have been so busy taking and processing photos and trying to launch the business.  I am so appreciative of all the support I have received for my work.

Last week I had the opportunity to visit Seattle and Portland and experience fall like we do not have in the Phoenix area.  The fall colors in the Pacific Northwest were still glorious.  Even though it was rainy and very wet, I managed to find a little sun.

Below are some photos from the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit.  The artwork is spectacular and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there.

This may be my all-time favorite photo!

The glass globes in the garden were stunning with the reflection of the Space Needle.
